Consolidating Fragmented Workflows Into One Enterprise Platform

Customer & Operational Problem
Radio fleet administrators and technicians were moving across disconnected backend tools to deploy, program, maintain, and monitor devices. The fragmentation increased training burden, slowed work, created inconsistent experiences, and made errors more likely.

Innovation Opportunity
I championed RadioCentral as a workflow and service transformation initiative — not simply a new interface. The goal was to consolidate fragmented backend tools into a single unified experience that could scale with customer needs, and to build a dedicated capability to sustain it going forward.
My Role
- Established and led a services design capability focused on backend platforms
- Owned end-to-end UX definition for the web application, start to finish
- Partnered closely with engineering on the interaction framework, patterns, and implementation
- Created scalable standards to drive consistency across complex admin experiences
How We Validated It
I directed usability testing across the deployment, programming, and maintenance workflows to reduce cognitive load and prevent high-impact errors before the new patterns rolled out platform-wide.
